Day 01 Arrival to San Jose / San Jose Courtyard by Marriott

Day 02 Arenal Volcano/Arenal Kioro
A private transfer from Best of Costa Rica will drive you to Arenal Volcano. The 3-4 hour drive to Arenal Kioro offers a great opportunity to enjoy the countryside through rolling hills and picturesque small towns. Arenal Volcano rewards its visitors with spectacular red-hot lava displays and earth-rattling thunder.

Day 04 Ocotal Resort

Day 06 Ocotal Resort
Suggested activities: You can visit Liberia and know the city and its typical places (the church, the park, old houses). Also you will be visiting many souvenirs shops. Or you can also visit Guaitil, a small village located just outside Santa Cruz, the primary center of Costa Rican folklore. In this town, people make clay pots by hand, decorate them with the Earth’s natural colors and fire them in giant wood-burning ovens.

Day 07 Ocotal Resort
The snorkel trip leaves in the morning. You can do a bit of a tour to look for dolphins or whales. The snorkeling spots can either be a beach, where the non-snorkelers can swim ashore and enjoy the beach, while the others go snorkeling, or a shallow coral/rock grouping.

Day 08 San Jose Courtyard
A local transfer will drive you to Liberia airport, where you will board a flight back to San Jose. Overnight at San Jose Courtyard Hotel. Lounge by the pool or venture downtown for souvenir shopping and urban sightseeing. Time permitting, we can recommend a variety of operators that specialize in San Jose City Tours including visits to the Pre-Columbian Gold and Jade Museums, the National Theater, and the picturesque town of Escazu.

Day 02 Private transfer to Trogon Lodge
A private transfer from Best of Costa Rica will take you on a two hours drive to Trogon Lodge . At an altitude of 7000 ft. above sea level, Trogon is surrounded by the unspoiled ecology of the area and is trimmed by the beautiful Savegre River, host to large schools of Rainbow Trout. The sound of the churning waters guarantees a heavenly slumber!
Suggested activities: A brief hiking trip is the perfect way to explore the property and nearby biological reservation.

Day 03 Trogon Lodge
Located along primary and secondary Cloud Forest, the platforms are situated in the midst of the Trogon’s private grounds. Steel cables and equipment meet the highest standards of quality and the top of the line gear includes both waist and chest harnesses, helmets and gloves. After a short walk along a private trail to the first platform, located on ground level, participants receive a safety briefing by our guides. The five platforms are linked by zip lines and each provides a unique opportunity to experience “flight”. The longest is over 200 ft. long and crosses right over the Savegre River. Make sure you bring a camera!

Day 04 Private Transfer to Los Sueños Resort
A Best of Costa Rica representative will greet you at Trogon Lodge and provide transportation to Los Sueños Resort. Day 05 Los Sueños Resort
Created to raise the world's consciousness of the importance of the tropical rainforests, the Pacific Rain Forest Aerial Tram allows guests to discover the hidden secrets and hanging gardens of the Transitional Tropical Rainforest, the junction between the two ecosystems is packed with exotic wildlife and full of bright tropical vegetation. The Pacific Rain Forest Aerial Tram is an eco-tourism project with 222 acres (90 hectares) of rainforest, showcasing small waterfalls and scenic views of the Pacific Coast.
